The Oxford 90 Degree Valve Adaptor is a simple angled fitting that makes topping up tyre pressures far easier on wheels where the valve is awkward to reach. It screws onto a standard Schrader valve and turns the connection through 90 degrees, giving your pump or airline chuck a clear, straight approach past discs, sprockets, brake calipers and low-profile rims.

Machined from chrome plated brass with an O-ring seal and finished with a stainless steel valve cap, it's a compact item worth keeping in the toolbox, tail pack or garage drawer. It is designed for inflation only and should be removed once you've finished — it is not intended to be left fitted to the valve while riding.

  • 90° angled adaptor for easier access to hard-to-reach tyre valves
  • Schrader valve connection
  • O-ring seal at the connection
  • Chrome plated brass construction
  • Stainless steel corrosion resistant valve cap
  • For inflation use only — remove after use, do not leave attached

  • Screw the adaptor onto the tyre valve by hand until the O-ring seats — do not use tools or overtighten, as this can damage the seal or the valve stem.
  • Connect your pump or airline chuck to the adaptor's Schrader fitting, inflate to the pressure specified by your motorcycle manufacturer, then check the reading with a gauge after disconnecting.
  • Remove the adaptor as soon as inflation is finished. It is intended for inflation only and should not be left fitted to the valve while riding, where its weight and length can stress the valve stem at speed.
  • Refit the original valve cap (or the supplied stainless steel cap) after every use to keep dirt and moisture out of the valve core.
  • Inspect the O-ring before use; if air escapes from the joint while inflating, stop and check that the O-ring is present, clean and undamaged.
  • Wipe the adaptor clean with a soft damp cloth and dry it thoroughly — avoid harsh solvents and abrasive cleaners, which can mark the chrome plating.
  • Store it dry, in a toolbox, tail pack or parts tray, so the threads and seal stay free of grit.
  • Check tyre pressures when the tyres are cold for the most accurate result, and listen for any hiss from the valve after removing the adaptor.
