The Oxford Helmet Halo is a simple workshop and storage pad that cradles your helmet while you work on it. Rest the helmet crown-down on the pad and it stays put while you pull the comfort liner and cheek pads, swap a visor, or give the shell and interior a clean — instead of balancing it on a bench where it can roll off.
It also earns its place between rides. The pad supports the helmet without pressing against the paintwork, and holding the helmet open-side up lets the interior lining air out rather than sitting damp inside a bag. Useful for anyone who services their own gear, and for riders who want a tidy, safe spot for the helmet in the shed, garage or workshop.
Replaces the earlier Oxford part OXOF603.

- Set the pad on a flat, stable bench or shelf before resting the helmet on it — it supports the helmet, but it is not a clamp or a lock.
- Place the helmet crown-down with the opening facing up, so the shell is supported and the liner is exposed to air.
- Brush any grit or dust off the pad before use, so trapped debris can't be pressed against the helmet's paintwork or visor.
- After a wet or sweaty ride, let the helmet sit open-side up on the pad in a dry, well-ventilated spot until the lining is fully dry before storing it away.
- Wipe the pad clean with a soft, damp cloth and mild soapy water; wipe off any residue and let it dry completely before the helmet goes back on.
- Keep petrol, solvents, degreasers and harsh cleaners away from the pad and helmet — they can damage helmet shells, visors and finishes.
- Store the pad and helmet out of direct sunlight and away from heaters and other heat sources.
- Don't rest anything heavy on top of the helmet while it's on the pad, and don't use the pad on an uneven surface or near the edge of a bench.
- Inspect the pad occasionally and replace it if it becomes torn, compressed flat or contaminated with grit or chemicals.
