The Oxford Snapjack V3 is a pocket-sized alternative to a conventional rear paddock stand. It lifts the rear tyre clear of the ground so the wheel spins freely, making it far easier to lube and clean the chain or wash the rim and tyre — without needing the storage space, weight or bulk of a full-size stand.
It suits riders who work on their bike in an apartment car park, a shared garage or a tight shed, and it packs down small enough to travel with in a tail bag or pannier for chain maintenance on tour. This third-generation model improves stability under load and adds two practical touches: an anti-pinch tab that keeps hands clear while the bike is being lifted, and a pull loop on the hinge pin that makes the pin easy to withdraw when lowering the bike back down.

- Use only on firm, level ground — soft, loose or sloping surfaces can allow the bike to shift while raised.
- Fit the supplied brake locking strap to hold the brake on before lifting, so the bike cannot roll during or after the lift.
- Place the kickstand anti-skid pad under the side stand foot to reduce the chance of the stand slipping or sinking.
- Follow Oxford's supplied instructions for correct positioning on your bike before applying any load, and check the stand is properly seated and the locking pin fully engaged before letting go.
- Keep hands on the anti-pinch tab while lifting, and clear of the hinge and pivot points.
- When lowering, use the pull loop on the hinge pin to withdraw the pin rather than levering it out with tools.
- Do not sit on, start or run the motorcycle while it is raised on the stand, and do not use the stand to support the bike for work that involves pushing or pulling hard on the machine.
- Before each use, inspect the locking pin, hinge pin and pivot for wear, cracks, bending or excessive play, and take the stand out of service if anything is damaged.
- Wipe the stand clean and dry after use — chain lube, degreaser and road grime left on the pins and pivot make it harder to operate and can hide damage.
- Store it dry in the supplied carry pouch with the pins kept together, so nothing is missing next time you need it.
