The Oxford F1 P45 Sport Panniers are a throw-over textile luggage set built for riders who want practical, everyday carrying capacity without stepping up to Oxford's premium Lifetime range. Made from polyester rip-stop with a nylon lining, they carry over Oxford's established construction, weatherproofing and fitting methods in a shape that suits a wide variety of sports and naked bikes.
With 45 litres of expandable capacity, an external pocket and a shoulder strap for carrying the bags once you're off the bike, they suit commuting, weekend trips and light touring. A showerproof inner liner is supplied for wet weather, and reflective print adds visibility after dark.
Supplied with five colour swatches that slide into windows on the bags, so you can colour-match the panniers to your bike.

- Fit the panniers over the seat or subframe with the load balanced evenly on both sides, then secure the third seatbelt-style safety strap under the seat before every ride.
- Check that no part of either bag or strap can contact the exhaust, chain, rear tyre or indicators, and re-check strap tension after the first few kilometres of a trip.
- Use the supplied showerproof inner liner in wet weather; the outer bags are weather-resistant rather than fully waterproof, so pack anything sensitive inside the liner.
- Avoid over-filling the expandable compartments, as overloading strains the zips, seams and mounting straps and can affect handling.
- Clean the outer fabric with a soft brush or cloth, warm water and mild soap; avoid solvents, petrol-based cleaners and high-pressure washers, which can damage the coating, reflective print and stitching.
- Allow the bags and liner to air-dry fully before storing, and store them empty in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to prevent mildew and fabric fading.
- Keep the reflective print clean and unobstructed so it stays effective at night.
- Inspect straps, buckles and zips regularly for fraying, cracking or wear, and stop using the panniers if any mounting strap is damaged.
- Slide the colour swatches into the windows only when the bags are clean and dry, so grit is not trapped behind the window.
