The Oxford Dynamic 2.0 Hip Armour is a pair of drop-in hip protectors designed for riding garments with dedicated hip pockets. The soft, flexible foam construction moves with you rather than against you, then stiffens on impact to absorb energy — so you get serious protection without the bulky, boardy feel of hard armour.

It suits riders in casually-styled motorcycle clothing such as riding jeans, cargo pants and protective denim, where a slim, low-profile insert keeps the garment looking like everyday wear. The armour is multi-impact rated, so it does not need replacing after a single knock, and the ventilated construction helps limit heat build-up on warmer days.

Fit the armour into your garment's dedicated hip pockets and check that it sits over the hip bone, not high on the waist or low on the thigh — protection only works where it is positioned.
Remove the inserts before washing the garment; leaving them in can distort the foam and stress the pocket seams.
Hand wash the armour separately in lukewarm water with a mild soap, then rinse thoroughly.
Air dry at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, heaters, exhausts or a tumble dryer — heat can permanently degrade the foam.
Keep the armour away from petrol, solvents, brake cleaner and other harsh chemicals.
Store the inserts flat and unfolded when not fitted, so the foam keeps its shape.
The foam is multi-impact rated, so it does not need replacing after every knock, but inspect it after any crash and replace it if you find tears, splits, permanent compression or crumbling.
Re-check the fit each time you launder the garment, as pockets and armour can shift or be reinserted the wrong way around.
