The Oxford Beast Anchor is the bolt-down fixing point built to match Oxford's heaviest security hardware. Where a chain and lock are only ever as strong as what they're secured to, the Beast Anchor gives you a hardened steel, double-layered mounting point that can be fitted to a concrete floor or a concrete or brick wall.
It's aimed at riders securing a bike at home, in a garage, shed or unit — particularly anyone already running the 22mm Beast chain and lock, or any other Oxford chain. At 4kg it is a genuinely substantial piece of steel, and the supplied anti-tamper fittings are designed to make the anchor extremely difficult to unbolt once installed.
The Beast range carries a Sold Secure Motorcycle Diamond rating, the result of independent attack testing with the tools thieves actually use.

- Fit only to sound, solid concrete floors or concrete/brick walls - do not mount to timber, plasterboard, render alone, hollow blockwork, pavers or thin slabs, as the fixing surface becomes the weak point.
- Follow the supplied Oxford fitting instructions and use all four high-security expansion bolts; partial fitting significantly reduces holding strength.
- Plan the position before drilling: mount close enough to the bike that the chain can pass through the frame or a wheel with minimal slack, and keep the lock off the ground so it can't be attacked with leverage or a hammer against the floor.
- Once bolted down, fit the anti-tamper ball bearings and steel plugs into the bolt recesses to block access to the bolt heads - treat this as a permanent installation and confirm the position first.
- The anchor weighs 4kg and the fitted assembly is heavy; take care when handling and drilling, and wear eye protection.
- Check the installation periodically for any movement, loosening or cracking of the surrounding concrete or brickwork, and re-secure if anything has shifted.
- Keep the anchor clear of dirt, grit and debris; for outdoor or damp installations, wipe it dry and apply a light corrosion-inhibiting spray to the exposed steel to slow surface rust.
- Do not drill, cut, weld or otherwise modify the anchor - any alteration compromises the hardened steel and its tested security performance.
- Pair the anchor with a chain and lock of matching strength, such as the 22mm Beast chain, so the whole system performs to the same level.
