The Optimate O-77 is a dedicated adapter that connects any SAE-output battery charger or maintainer to the Euro 5 charging port fitted to Ducati motorcycles produced from 2021 onwards.

For Ducati owners who already run an SAE-equipped charger, the O-77 provides a direct, plug-and-play solution — no need to replace an existing charger when moving to a current Euro 5 model. It is a simple, purpose-built accessory that ensures continued compatibility between your charger and your bike.

Switch the charger off or disconnect it from mains power before attaching or removing the adapter.
Connect the SAE end of the O-77 to the charger's SAE output lead first, then connect the Ducati Euro 5 end to the bike's charging port.
Do not force either connector — both ends should seat firmly without excessive pressure; a forced fit indicates a connector mismatch.
Before mating the connectors, wipe both ends with a dry cloth to remove any moisture or debris.
