- Inspect the outer shell, visor and retention system for cracks or damage before every ride; do not use a helmet that has sustained an impact.
- Clean the outer shell with mild soap and warm water applied with a soft cloth; avoid petrol-based solvents, acetone or abrasive cleaners as these can degrade the shell material.
- If the interior liner is removable, hand-wash it with mild detergent and allow it to air-dry completely before refitting — do not machine-wash or tumble-dry.
- Wipe the visor with a damp microfibre cloth; never use dry or abrasive materials that may scratch the lens.
- Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel, oil and chemical fumes, which can degrade foam and shell materials over time.
- Do not place the helmet on the motorcycle mirror or tank where it may fall and receive an impact that is invisible externally.
- Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if no external damage is visible — the internal EPS liner is a single-use energy absorber.
- Do not apply adhesive stickers, paint or chemical treatments to the outer shell without confirming compatibility with the shell material.
