  • Clean the outer shell with a soft damp cloth and mild soap; never use petroleum-based solvents, acetone or abrasive cleaners, which can degrade the shell finish and graphics.
  • Wipe the visor or peak with a clean, soft microfibre cloth only — paper towels and dry rags can cause fine scratches that impair visibility.
  • If the interior comfort liner is removable, hand wash it in cool water with a gentle detergent and allow it to air dry completely before reinserting — do not machine wash or tumble dry.
  • Inspect the chin strap, buckle and retention system before every ride; replace if frayed, cracked or no longer securely fastening.
  • Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even when no external damage is visible — EPS foam liners absorb energy by crushing and do not recover for subsequent impacts.
  • Avoid leaving the helmet inside a parked vehicle on warm days; prolonged heat exposure can degrade the shell, EPS liner and interior materials.
  • Store the helmet in a helmet bag or a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and UV exposure when not in use.
  • Do not apply stickers, paint or aftermarket adhesives to the shell without confirming compatibility, as some adhesives chemically attack helmet materials.
