  • Clean the outer shell with a mild soap solution and a soft, damp cloth; avoid petroleum-based solvents or abrasive cleaners, which can degrade the shell and finish.
  • Clean the visor with warm water and a mild detergent; never dry-wipe the visor surface, as this causes scratching.
  • If the interior liner and cheek pads are removable, hand-wash them in cool water with a gentle detergent and allow them to air-dry fully before refitting.
  • Inspect the chin strap, buckle and retention system before each ride; replace immediately if worn, frayed or damaged.
  • Do not apply paint, solvents or adhesive stickers to the shell, as these can compromise structural integrity.
  • Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if external damage is not visible — internal EPS foam may be compromised.
  • Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuels, oils and chemical vapours.
  • As a general guideline, replace the helmet every five years from the manufacture date printed on the interior label, or sooner if the fit, shell or retention system shows signs of wear.
