Clean the outer shell with mild soap and lukewarm water using a soft cloth; never use petrol, solvents or abrasive cleaners as these degrade the shell material and graphics.
Clean visors with warm water and mild soap; never wipe a dry visor — always wet the lens surface first to avoid scratching.
To operate the drop-down sun visor, use the external deployment lever; do not force it if resistance is felt — inspect for debris around the visor channel before applying pressure.
Remove the inner lining and cheek pads for washing; hand-wash in cool water with mild detergent, rinse thoroughly, and allow to air-dry completely before reinserting.
Store the helmet in a fabric helmet bag in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours and chemical fumes, all of which can degrade the EPS liner and shell over time.
Do not hang the helmet by its chin strap for extended periods, as this can distort the strap's retention geometry.
Inspect the chin strap buckle and webbing before every ride; retire the helmet immediately if the buckle is damaged or the strap shows fraying.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if no external damage is visible — the EPS liner is a single-use energy absorber and will not perform correctly a second time.
