The Nitro N501 DVS is a full-face motorcycle helmet built around an integrated Dual Visor System — a clear outer visor paired with a built-in drop-down tinted sun visor that riders can deploy without stopping or swapping lenses. This makes it particularly practical for commuting and everyday road use where light conditions change frequently.

Sitting in Nitro's accessible range, the N501 DVS is aimed at riders who want dual-visor convenience without stepping up to a premium price bracket. The Black/Green colourway gives the helmet a sharp, distinctive look on the road.

  • Full-face construction providing chin, face and head protection
  • Integrated drop-down internal tinted sun visor (DVS) — no lens swaps required
  • Available in S, M, L and XL
  • Black/Green colourway

  • Clean the outer shell with a soft cloth dampened with mild soapy water; avoid petrol, solvents or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the paint and shell integrity.
  • Wipe the visor with a wet microfibre cloth only — never use a dry cloth or abrasive material, as these will scratch the lens surface.
  • Operate the drop-down sun visor mechanism smoothly and do not force it; check for trapped debris if resistance is felt.
  • Remove the interior liner and cheek pads for washing in lukewarm water with a mild detergent; allow to air-dry fully before refitting.
  • Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuels and chemicals, all of which degrade foam and shell materials over time.
  • Do not hang the helmet by the visor or chin guard; store it on a flat surface or a purpose-made helmet stand.
  • Replace the helmet after any significant impact — EPS liner foam absorbs a single hard blow and does not recover, even if the outer shell appears undamaged.
  • Inspect the chin strap, buckle and retention system before each ride; retire the helmet if any component is frayed, cracked or no longer functioning correctly.
  • As a general guideline, replace the helmet within five years of its manufacture date or sooner if the liner, shell or retention system shows visible deterioration.
