The Nitro N501 DVS is a full-face helmet designed for everyday road riders who want the practicality of an integrated dual visor system. The built-in internal drop-down sun visor allows you to switch between clear and tinted vision on the fly — no stopping, no swapping lenses.

- Clean the outer shell with mild soap and warm water using a soft cloth; avoid petroleum-based solvents, abrasive pads or harsh chemicals that degrade the shell finish.
- Clean the outer visor with warm soapy water and a soft microfibre cloth — never wipe a dry visor, as doing so scratches the surface and reduces optical clarity.
- Remove the inner liner and wash it according to the care label; allow it to air-dry completely before reinstalling, as a damp liner promotes odour and degrades foam.
- Operate the internal DVS sun visor lever gently; keep the mechanism clear of grit and dust, and do not force it if resistance is felt.
- Inspect the visor regularly for deep scratches, crazing or distortion; replace it promptly if optical quality is impaired, as a damaged visor compromises vision.
- Check the chin strap and retention system before each ride; ensure the buckle closes securely and the strap sits snugly under the chin.
- Avoid storing the helmet near fuel, oil, paint fumes or direct sunlight, as these degrade both the shell material and the inner EPS foam liner over time.
- Replace the helmet after any significant impact — even when no external damage is visible, the internal EPS liner may be compromised and will not provide full protection in a subsequent incident.
