  • Clean the outer shell with a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and warm water; avoid solvents, petrol, or abrasive cleaners that can degrade the shell.
  • Clean visors with a clean, damp cloth only — never wipe a dry visor as dust particles will scratch the lens surface.
  • Operate the drop-down sun visor lever only when it is safe to do so; keep the pivot mechanism free from grit and debris.
  • If the interior liner is removable, hand-wash it in cool water with a mild detergent and allow it to air-dry completely before refitting.
  • Store the helmet in a helmet bag or its original box, away from direct sunlight, fuels, chemicals and extreme heat, all of which can degrade materials over time.
