- Clean the outer shell with mild soap and lukewarm water using a soft cloth; avoid petroleum-based solvents, petrol or harsh chemicals that may degrade the shell or graphics.
- Clean the visor with warm water and a mild detergent; use only a soft lint-free cloth to avoid scratching the lens.
- If the interior liner is removable, hand-wash it in cool water with a gentle detergent and allow it to air dry completely away from direct heat before refitting.
- Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuels, solvents and chemical fumes, which can degrade EPS foam and shell materials over time.
- Inspect the chin-strap buckle and retention system before each ride; replace the helmet if any hardware is damaged or the strap shows significant wear.
- Replace the helmet immediately after any impact, even if there is no visible damage — EPS foam is a single-use protective material.
- Do not paint, drill, apply non-approved stickers or otherwise modify the helmet, as this may compromise structural integrity.
- As a general guideline, consider replacing your helmet every five years from the date of manufacture, or sooner if it shows visible deterioration — refer to the date of manufacture label inside the helmet.
