Remove any removable liner and cheek pads before cleaning; hand wash with mild soap and allow to air dry fully before refitting.
Wipe the outer shell with a soft damp cloth and mild detergent — avoid solvents, petrol, or abrasive cleaners that can damage the shell or satin finish.
Clean the peak with a damp cloth; avoid forcing debris off around the peak mountings to prevent cracking.
Inspect the chin strap, retention system, peak mounting points and shell for wear or damage before each ride.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and chemical fumes — UV exposure and fuel vapours degrade EPS and shell materials over time.
Do not stack or place heavy objects on top of the helmet in storage.
Replace the helmet immediately after any significant impact, even if no external damage is visible, as the EPS liner may be compromised internally.
