- Clean the shell with a soft damp cloth and mild soap; avoid petroleum-based solvents or abrasive cleaners that can degrade the finish or shell integrity.
- Remove the interior liner before washing; hand wash in cool water with mild detergent and allow to air dry completely before reinserting.
- Do not use a tumble dryer or direct heat source on the liner or shell.
- Store the helmet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and fuel vapours, which can degrade foam and liner materials over time.
- Inspect the peak mounting points and peak itself before each ride; replace a cracked or loose peak before use.
- Check the retention system (chin strap and buckle) regularly for wear, fraying or damage and replace if compromised.
- Do not paint, modify or apply adhesive stickers directly over vents, as this can affect ventilation and structural integrity.
- Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if no visible damage is apparent, as the EPS liner may be compressed internally.
