- Clean the outer shell with a soft damp cloth and mild soap solution; avoid petroleum-based solvents or abrasive cleaners that can degrade the shell finish and graphics.
- Wipe the peak with warm soapy water and a soft cloth; do not scrub decals.
- If the inner liner is removable, hand-wash it with mild detergent in cool water and allow it to air-dry completely before reinserting — do not machine-wash or tumble-dry.
- Inspect the retention strap and buckle before each ride for fraying, cracking or loss of function.
- Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even where no visible damage is present — internal EPS foam may be permanently compressed and no longer protective.
- Do not store the helmet in direct sunlight, on car dashboards or near heat sources; prolonged UV and heat exposure degrade both the shell and the EPS liner.
- Store in a breathable helmet bag when not in use to prevent dust accumulation and surface scratching.
- Do not paint or apply chemical-based stickers to the shell; aftermarket adhesives can attack polycarbonate or ABS shells.
