  • Clean the outer shell with a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water; rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry before storage.
  • Never use petroleum-based solvents, petrol, or abrasive cleaners on the shell or visor — these can degrade the materials and compromise structural integrity.
  • Clean the visor with a dedicated visor cleaner or mild soapy water and a microfibre cloth to avoid scratching.
  • Retire and replace the helmet immediately after any significant impact, even if no visible damage is present — internal EPS foam does not visibly show crush damage.
  • Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours, and chemicals, ideally in a helmet bag to protect the shell and visor.
  • As a general guideline, replace your helmet every five years from the date of manufacture regardless of apparent condition, as materials degrade over time.
  • Ensure the chin strap is correctly fastened and adjusted before every ride — the strap should be snug with no more than two fingers of slack under the chin.
  • When not in use, avoid resting the helmet on its visor or placing heavy objects on top of it.
