Clean the outer shell with a soft damp cloth and mild soap; never use petroleum-based solvents, acetone, or abrasive cleaners as these can damage the shell and finish.
Clean the visor with a damp, lint-free cloth — never wipe a dry visor, as doing so may cause fine scratches that impair visibility.
If the interior liner is removable, hand-wash it in lukewarm water with mild detergent and allow it to air-dry completely before refitting; never use a tumble dryer.
Before each ride, check that the modular chin bar latches securely in both the fully open and fully closed positions.
Inspect the chin strap, retention buckle, and webbing regularly; retire the helmet if any component is frayed, cracked, or no longer functions correctly.
If the helmet sustains any impact — even with no visible external damage — retire and replace it immediately, as the EPS liner absorbs energy by deforming and cannot be reliably inspected for internal damage.
Do not apply paint, stickers using solvent-based adhesives, or any chemical product to the shell, as these can compromise structural integrity.
Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuels, lubricants, and chemicals; use a helmet bag or cloth cover to protect the shell and visor from dust and scratches.
