Motul 7100 4T is a 100% synthetic, ester-based engine oil for four-stroke motorcycles, supplied here in a 4 litre container in SAE 10W-40 viscosity.
It suits riders of high-performance road, sport, touring and adventure machines who want a premium oil for spirited riding and track use, and it is formulated to work with wet clutches and shared gearboxes. Ester technology helps the oil hold its film strength at high temperature and high engine speeds, while the additive package supports shear stability and gear protection.

- Check your owner's manual for the oil grade, specification and capacity your engine requires before filling — 10W-40 is not correct for every machine.
- Drain the oil when the engine is warm so it flows freely and carries contaminants out with it; take care, as warm oil and exhaust components can burn.
- Replace the oil filter and the sump plug sealing washer at the same time as the oil, and torque the plug to the manufacturer's specification.
- Refill to the capacity listed in your manual, then check the level on the sight glass or dipstick with the bike upright and the engine off after a short run.
- Recheck the level and inspect for leaks around the drain plug and filter after the first ride following a change.
- Follow the service interval in your owner's manual; shorten it for track days, sustained high revs, short trips or dusty conditions.
- Do not mix with oils that are not JASO MA/MA2 rated — friction-modified passenger car oils can cause wet clutch slip.
- Store sealed and upright in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, and keep the container closed to stop moisture and dirt getting in.
- Dispose of used oil, filters and empty containers at a licensed waste oil collection or recycling facility; never pour oil down drains or onto the ground.
- Wear gloves and wash off skin contact promptly; keep the product away from children and pets.
