The Motorex Road Chain Maintenance Pack brings together the two aerosols you need to keep a road bike's final drive running properly: a 500 ml can of Motorex road chain lube and a 500 ml can of Motorex Chain Clean. Buying the pair as a pack costs less than buying each can on its own.
The cleaner cuts through caked-on grease, road grime and old lubricant so the chain is properly prepped, while the lubricant sprays on white for easy visual coverage and is formulated to cling to the chain rather than fling off at speed. Both products are tested for use with O-ring, X-ring and Z-ring chains.
Suited to road and sports riders doing their own chain maintenance at home, and a sensible pack to keep on the workbench for regular after-ride or post-wash servicing.

- Shake each can well before use so the contents are properly mixed.
- Clean first, lube second: spray Chain Clean along the chain, let it soak into the caked-on grease and residue, then agitate with a chain brush and wipe the chain down.
- Work on a bike that is safely supported so the rear wheel can be rotated by hand — never with the engine running or in gear.
- Allow the chain to dry fully after cleaning before applying lubricant, so the lube can bond to a clean surface.
- Apply the lube to a warm chain (for example after a ride) and aim at the inner run of the chain, rotating the wheel to cover the full length; the white film shows you where you have and haven't reached.
- Let the lubricant settle before riding so it can penetrate and stop it flinging off on the first few kilometres.
- Mask or avoid overspray onto brake discs, pads, tyres and wheel rims, and wipe off any excess immediately.
- Re-clean and re-lube more often after wet-weather rides, high-pressure washing or long touring days.
- Check chain tension and condition while you're there, and adjust to your bike manufacturer's specification.
- Store both cans upright in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight, heat and ignition sources — they are pressurised aerosols. Do not pierce or burn, even when empty, and dispose of according to local regulations.
- Use in a well-ventilated area and follow the directions and safety information printed on each can.
