Motorex Power Synt 4T 10W-50 is a fully synthetic four-stroke engine oil developed for demanding use in hypersport and high-performance motorcycles. It is formulated for engines that share their oil with the gearbox and a wet multi-plate clutch, so it has to protect three very different jobs at once — and hold up when the engine is worked hard.

The blend targets aggressive power delivery alongside wear protection across the full operating range, from cold starts through to sustained high-rpm running. It carries JASO MA approval, which is the specification to look for when a bike runs a wet clutch, along with API SM, SL, SJ, SH and SG service categories.

Motorex is a Swiss lubricant specialist with a long history in motorcycle engine and driveline products, and is used widely by race teams. Supplied in a 4 litre bottle, which suits most single oil-and-filter changes. Always check your owner's handbook for the viscosity and specification your bike requires.

Check your motorcycle's owner handbook first and confirm it calls for a 10W-50 oil meeting JASO MA and the listed API grades — viscosity requirements vary between models.
Run the engine until it reaches operating temperature before draining, so the old oil carries contaminants out with it, then allow it to drain fully with the bike upright.
Replace the oil filter and the sump plug sealing washer at each oil change, and torque the drain plug to your manufacturer's figure — over-tightening damages alloy sump threads.
Fill in stages and check the level via the sight glass or dipstick with the bike upright and level; start the engine, let it idle briefly to fill the filter, then recheck and top up as needed.
Do not overfill — excess oil can be forced past seals or aerated by the crankshaft.
Avoid mixing with oils that lack JASO MA approval; friction-modified energy-conserving car oils can cause a wet clutch to slip.
Keep the container sealed between uses and store it upright in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to avoid moisture and contamination.
Only pour from a clean container and avoid introducing dirt or water into the bottle.
Avoid prolonged skin contact with used oil, wear gloves where practical, and wash any splashes off promptly.
Take used oil and filters to a council waste-oil collection point or a workshop that recycles them — never tip oil into drains, stormwater or the ground.
Change the oil at the interval specified for your bike, and shorten that interval for track use, short trips or dusty conditions.
