- Check tyre pressure when the tyre is cold; always inflate to the motorcycle manufacturer's recommended pressure for this size.
- New tyres require a break-in period of approximately 100 km — ride conservatively and avoid hard cornering or sudden acceleration until the mould-release compound has worn off the tread surface.
- Inspect the tyre before each ride for cuts, embedded objects, bulges, or uneven wear.
- Monitor tread depth regularly; replace the tyre before it reaches the minimum tread depth indicated by the wear indicators moulded into the tread grooves.
- Do not mix tyre types or constructions front and rear unless explicitly approved by the motorcycle manufacturer.
- Store unmounted tyres horizontally or hanging in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, ozone sources (electric motors, fluorescent lights), heat, and solvents.
- Avoid contact with petroleum-based products, cleaning solvents, and tyre-shine sprays containing silicone, as these can degrade the rubber compound.
- Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified tyre technician using equipment appropriate for tubeless fitment.
- After fitting, check bead seating and inflation before riding.
