- Have this tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified tyre technician using appropriate workshop equipment — home mounting without proper tools risks bead damage and an unsafe seal.
- Allow a break-in period of approximately 100–200 km with gradual lean angles; the tyre compound requires progressive use to reach optimal grip levels.
- Set inflation pressure to the motorcycle manufacturer's recommended cold rear pressure; check every time before riding, as even small deviations affect handling and wear.
- Inspect the tyre regularly for cuts, embedded objects, sidewall bulges, cracking, or abnormal wear patterns — replace immediately if any structural damage is found.
- Monitor tread depth and replace before reaching the tyre's moulded wear indicators or the Australian legal minimum of 1.5 mm, whichever comes first.
- Do not exceed the tyre's load rating (index 66 = 300 kg) or speed rating (S = 180 km/h) under any circumstances, including with a pillion or loaded luggage.
- Keep the tyre free from contact with oils, fuels, brake fluid, and solvents, which degrade rubber compound over time.
- Store unmounted tyres horizontally or standing upright in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, UV sources, and ozone-generating equipment such as electric motors and welders.
