- This is a tube-type tyre — always fit with a correctly sized, compatible inner tube; never run without one.
- Have the tyre mounted, bead-seated and balanced by a qualified tyre technician using appropriate rim tools to avoid bead or sidewall damage.
- Check tyre pressure before every ride and set to your motorcycle manufacturer's recommended pressure for this tyre size and load.
- Allow a break-in period of approximately 100 km at moderate pace to scrub in the tyre surface before riding at the limits.
- Inspect tread and sidewalls regularly for cuts, embedded objects, bulges or uneven wear; replace immediately if structural damage is found.
- Do not exceed the rated load index of 64 (280 kg) or speed rating R (170 km/h).
- Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, UV sources and ozone-generating equipment such as electric motors.
- For extended storage, wrap the tyre or seal it in a bag to slow ozone-related rubber degradation.
