The Metzeler Cruisetec in 130/70 R 18 63H TL is a radial, tubeless front tyre built for modern cruisers and performance-oriented V-twins. It pairs Metzeler's sport-touring derived profiles with a robust carcass, so the heavier machines this segment is known for still turn in predictably and hold a line without feeling vague.
Front-specific construction is where this size earns its keep. Stiffer cords with a lower end count leave room for thicker rubber between them, which adds damping through the contact patch. The practical result is a more planted front end on corner exit and less of the unsettling groove wander riders notice on rain-grooved concrete and broken bitumen.
A silica-rich compound and the brush-like tread pattern support quick warm-up and confident wet-weather grip, while the tread layout is tuned to work cleanly with all generations of electronic rider aids. Suited to riders of Harley-Davidson and similar big-bore cruisers and baggers who want a sportier feel than stock rubber, solo or two-up.

- Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified tyre technician on a rim in sound condition and of the correct size for 130/70 R 18; tubeless fitment requires a tubeless-rated rim and a serviceable valve.
- Observe the rotation arrow moulded into the sidewall when fitting, and fit the tyre to the front wheel only.
- Allow a run-in period on new rubber: ride smoothly and progressively increase lean angle until the release agents and mould sheen have worn off both shoulders.
- Check and set pressures cold, using the pressures specified by your motorcycle manufacturer for the load you are carrying; re-check regularly, as radial tyres can look normal while running low.
- Do not exceed the load or speed capability indicated by the 63H marking, and take the load rating into account when riding two-up or fully laden.
- Inspect the tread and sidewalls periodically for cuts, embedded objects, bulges or uneven wear, and replace before the tread falls below the legal minimum depth in your state or territory.
- Avoid spinning, wheelspin starts, kerb strikes and hard impacts with potholes, which can damage the carcass without visible external signs.
- Clean with mild soap and water only; keep silicone tyre dressings, solvents, petrol and brake cleaner off the tread and sidewalls.
- Store unfitted tyres upright in a cool, dry, dark place away from direct sunlight, ozone sources such as electric motors, and any chemicals or fuels.
- Have any tyre that has been run flat, repaired or subjected to a heavy impact assessed by a professional before returning it to service.
