  • Clean the outer shell with a mild soap solution and a soft cloth; avoid solvents, petrol, or abrasive cleaners that can damage the finish.
  • Clean the interior liner by hand-washing with mild detergent and warm water; allow to dry fully before use.
  • Inspect the visor and visor seal regularly for scratches or cracks that may impair vision or weather protection; replace if damaged.
  • Do not store the helmet in direct sunlight or high heat (e.g. on the seat of a parked bike), as UV and heat degrade shell materials and padding over time.
  • Store in the supplied bag or a breathable container in a cool, dry place.
  • Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if no external damage is visible — internal EPS liner damage is not always apparent.
  • As a general guideline, replace the helmet every five years from the date of manufacture, or sooner if the shell, liner, or retention system show signs of wear.
  • Ensure the chin strap is fastened securely (double-D or micro-ratchet) before every ride and inspect the strap and buckle for fraying or corrosion periodically.
