The Motobatt Lithium Jump Starter 10000 is a compact 12V jump pack with a built-in air compressor, built for riders and drivers who would rather sort a flat battery or a soft tyre themselves than wait for help. At 880 g it stows easily in a tail bag, pannier, ute toolbox or boot, and it recharges from any standard USB outlet.
A 10000 mAh lithium cell delivers 500 A of start current and 1000 A peak — enough to turn over most 12V motorcycles and cars — while the plug-in clamp lead uses copper clamps and a positive-locking connection for a reliable link to the battery. Between jobs it doubles as a power bank for phones and tablets, and the LED torch adds illumination, strobe and SOS modes for roadside work after dark.
Supplied in a hard case with the air line, clamp lead and charging cables, so everything travels together.

- Charge the unit fully before first use — a full charge takes about six hours from a 5V/2A USB source.
- Check the charge indicator before every ride or trip; jump starting draws heavily on the pack, so top it up again as soon as you get home.
- Recharge the pack every couple of months while it is in storage, even if unused, so the lithium cell is never left sitting flat.
- Use only on 12V vehicle electrical systems. Plug the clamp lead into the unit, connect red to the positive terminal and black to the negative, keep the clamps clear of each other and remove them in reverse order once the engine is running.
- Crank in short attempts and allow a pause between them rather than holding the starter on.
- When inflating, fit the air line to the valve squarely, check pressure as you go against the tyre's placard figure, and let the compressor cool between long inflation sessions.
- Detach and coil the air line after use and stow all leads in the hard case so the connectors are not strained or damaged.
- Keep the unit dry — it is not designed to be submerged or left in the rain. Wipe the housing and clamps with a soft damp cloth and avoid solvents, petrol or degreasers.
- Store in the supplied hard case in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, and keep it within its -20°C to 60°C operating range — avoid leaving it in a hot car or on a bike in the sun.
- Do not use or charge a pack that has been dropped hard, dented, swollen or exposed to water, and dispose of it through a lithium battery recycling point rather than in general waste.
- If you fly with it, carry it in your cabin baggage — lithium packs are not permitted in checked luggage. Check your airline's rules before travelling.
