  • Before fitting, partially inflate the tube just enough to give it shape — this helps prevent pinching during installation.
  • Use plastic tyre levers only when possible; metal levers can pinch and puncture the tube.
  • Check that the tyre size stamped on the sidewall matches the tube's stated size range (3.00–3.25) before fitting.
  • Inspect the tyre's inner carcass for embedded debris before inserting the tube; a foreign object will puncture the new tube immediately.
  • Align the TR4 valve stem with the rim's valve hole and ensure it sits straight before seating the tyre bead.
  • Inflate gradually and check the bead is seated evenly around the rim before reaching final pressure.
  • Check and adjust tyre pressure with a calibrated gauge before each ride; do not rely on visual inspection alone.
  • Store unused tubes in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, ozone sources (such as electric motors), and petroleum-based products, which degrade rubber over time.
  • If a tube has been punctured and patched, inspect the patch and surrounding area carefully before re-using in a competition or high-load application.
