The Maxxis MX-ST is a tube-type rear motocross tyre sized 120/80-19, built for mid to soft terrain conditions. It is suited to riders competing or training on tracks with loose, muddy, or intermediate surfaces where positive traction is a priority.
Carrying a 63M load and speed rating and designed for a standard 19-inch rear rim, the MX-ST is a widely used fitment on full-size motocross and enduro machines. As a tube-type tyre, it requires a compatible inner tube for fitment — tube not supplied.

- Always fit this tyre with a new, compatible inner tube — reusing an old tube inside a new tyre increases the risk of failure.
- Check tyre pressure before every ride; motocross tyres are typically run at lower pressures than road tyres — refer to your motorcycle manufacturer's specification.
- Inspect the tyre carefully after each ride for cuts, punctures, embedded debris, or sidewall damage, particularly following rocky or rooted terrain.
- Do not mount or dismount the tyre without proper tyre levers and rim protectors to protect both the tyre bead and the wheel rim.
- Do not use liquid tyre sealants inside tube-type tyres; sealants are incompatible with inner tubes and can cause tube failure.
- Store unmounted tyres horizontally in a cool, dark, dry location away from ozone sources such as electric motors and fluorescent lighting.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to UV light and ozone, which accelerate rubber degradation even on unused tyres.
- Replace the tyre when the knobs are significantly worn, when the casing shows cracking or bulging, or if the bead is damaged — do not ride on a compromised motocross tyre.
