The Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 (MU09) is a radial ATV tyre in the 24x8-12 size, carrying a 6-ply rating and a 40N load and speed index. It suits riders running a 24x8-12 fitment on quads and side-by-sides used for trail, farm and general all-terrain work.
Radial construction is designed to give a more compliant footprint than a comparable bias-ply tyre. Sold as a single tyre. Please check the size, load rating and fitment specified for your machine before ordering.

- Fit only to a rim of the size and type specified for this tyre, and have fitting and balancing carried out by a qualified tyre technician.
- Inflate to the pressure specified by your vehicle manufacturer for this tyre size; do not exceed the maximum pressure moulded on the sidewall.
- Check pressures cold before each ride — ATV tyres run at low pressures, where small losses make a large difference to handling and bead security.
- Inspect regularly for cuts, punctures, embedded stones, sidewall damage, bulges and uneven wear, and replace the tyre if damage reaches the carcass.
- Observe the tread wear indicators and replace the tyre once the tread is worn to the limit.
- Do not mix radial and bias-ply tyres on the same axle, and keep tyre sizes matched as specified for your machine.
- Wash with mild soap and water only; keep petrol, oils, solvents and tyre dressings containing petroleum distillates off the rubber.
- Store spare tyres upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, ozone sources such as electric motors, and chemicals.
- Avoid running underinflated or overloaded, as both accelerate wear and increase the risk of bead unseating or carcass damage.
