Liqui Moly Motorbike Fork Oil 10W is a fully synthetic fork and shock-absorber oil supplied in a 1 litre bottle (Liqui Moly article number 2715). It is built on synthetic base oils with a matched additive package, so damping stays predictable and handling stays consistent even after long periods in service.

It suits riders and workshops servicing telescopic forks and shock absorbers on motorcycles, mopeds, motorised bicycles and other two-wheeled vehicles where a SAE 10W suspension fluid is specified. The formulation resists foaming, helps keep seals in condition, and provides corrosion and wear protection for a long service life.

Always follow the fork, shock absorber and vehicle manufacturer's instructions for the correct viscosity, oil quantity and air gap before filling.

  • Follow the fork, shock absorber and vehicle manufacturer's instructions for the specified viscosity, oil quantity and air gap — do not substitute a different grade unless the manufacturer permits it.
  • Check that 10W is the correct grade for your suspension before filling; a heavier or lighter oil will change damping.
  • Replace fork oil at the service intervals set by the fork or vehicle manufacturer, and any time the fork seals are replaced or the fork is stripped.
  • Drain the old oil completely and clean internal components before refilling, so contaminated oil is not carried over into the fresh fill.
  • Measure the fill with a graduated cylinder or oil level tool rather than estimating, and set the air gap with the fork fully compressed and the spring removed, per the manufacturer's method.
  • Stroke the fork slowly several times after filling to purge trapped air before setting the final level.
  • Do not mix with mineral or other suspension fluids of a different specification; use a clean container and funnel to avoid introducing dirt or moisture.
  • Keep the bottle tightly sealed and store upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and ignition sources.
  • Wipe up spills promptly — oil on brake discs, pads or tyres is a safety hazard — and wear gloves to limit skin contact.
  • Dispose of used suspension oil through a licensed waste oil collection point; never pour it into drains, soil or household waste.
