The La Corsa 8.3mm Tubeless Valve Stem set is a pair of machined alloy replacement stems for tubeless motorcycle wheels with an 8.3mm valve hole. Each stem is turned from 6061 alloy and finished in anodised gold, so a set gives worn or corroded rubber snap-in valves a tidy upgrade at tyre-change time.

The stems are angled, which brings the valve away from the rim and disc for easier access with a pressure gauge or airline — useful on sportsbikes and any wheel where a straight stem sits awkwardly behind brake hardware. Each stem clamps to the rim with a locknut rather than pulling through, and they are sold in pairs to do the front and rear together.

Fitting requires the tyre to be removed from the rim, so these are best installed during a tyre change by a qualified tyre fitter.

  • Sold as a pair — enough for front and rear wheels
  • Machined from 6061 aluminium alloy
  • Anodised gold finish
  • Suits tubeless rims with an 8.3mm valve hole
  • Angled stem for easier access to the valve when inflating or checking pressures
  • Clamp-in design that fixes to the rim with a locknut
  • 2 x La Corsa alloy tubeless valve stems

  • Check your rim's valve hole is 8.3mm before ordering — these stems will not seal correctly in a rim drilled for a different size.
  • Fit during a tyre change: the tyre must be broken down off the rim so the stem and its seal can be located from inside the wheel.
  • Tighten the locknut firmly by hand tools only. Alloy stems strip and distort easily, so do not overtighten or use a rattle gun.
  • After fitting, inflate the tyre and check the base of the stem and the valve core with soapy water for bubbles before riding.
  • Re-check tyre pressures and the stem for leaks after the first ride, then keep to your normal pressure-check routine.
  • Always refit the valve cap — it keeps grit and water out of the valve core and helps hold pressure.
  • Wipe the anodised finish with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh wheel cleaners, degreasers and solvents, which can dull or discolour anodising.
  • Inspect for corrosion, cracking or a weeping seal each time the wheel is off, and replace the stems whenever a tyre is replaced or if there is any doubt about the seal.
  • Angled stems sit closer to brake discs and other hardware on some wheels — confirm clearance through full suspension and wheel rotation after fitting.
