- Before installation, confirm the lever is correct for your specific Honda model and year using the WMP fitment guide or your workshop manual.
- Torque the lever pivot bolt to the specification stated in your motorcycle's service manual — do not overtighten, as this can bind lever movement.
- After fitting, adjust clutch lever free play at the perch adjuster to the manufacturer-recommended range before riding.
- Apply a small amount of appropriate grease or lubricant to the pivot pin during installation to prevent premature wear and corrosion.
- Inspect the pivot bolt, adjuster barrel, and lever blade for wear or cracking at each service interval.
- Clean the lever with mild soap and water; avoid harsh solvents or degreasers that may degrade any surface finish.
- Store spare levers in a dry location away from prolonged UV exposure to prevent degradation of the material over time.
