The Kryptonite Stronghold Anchor is a fixed security anchor point for securing a motorcycle, scooter or other machine at home, in a garage, shed or workshop. It gives you a solid, immovable point to lock a chain or heavy-duty lock to, so the bike cannot simply be pushed, rolled or lifted away.
It suits riders who park in a private garage, carport or storage unit and want a permanent layer of security beyond a disc lock or chain alone. Used correctly with a suitable chain and lock, the Stronghold system is designed to defend against lift away, tow away, ride away and roll off theft.

- Install onto a solid, structurally sound surface such as a concrete slab or masonry wall — the anchor is only as strong as what it is fixed to.
- Follow the fitting instructions supplied by Kryptonite and use the supplied fixings; do not substitute lighter-duty bolts.
- Position the anchor so the chain sits clear of the ground where possible, making it harder to attack with tools.
- Use a chain and lock of appropriate security rating; the anchor is intended to be used as part of a complete locking system.
- Check the fixings periodically and re-tighten if any movement develops, particularly in the first few weeks after installation.
- Wipe away dirt and grit, and keep the moving parts and lock interface clear of debris.
- In outdoor or damp installations, inspect regularly for corrosion and apply a suitable lubricant to any moving parts.
- Always lock the bike through the frame or a non-removable part rather than a wheel alone.
