The Kenda K262 Small Block is a dual-purpose tyre for small-capacity street and trail machines that split their time between sealed roads and dirt. The waffle-style block tread with offset shoulder lugs digs into loose surfaces while keeping a settled, predictable feel on bitumen.

This listing is the 2.75-21 front size in a 4 ply rating, tube-type construction for spoked wheels. It carries DOT and E-mark approval, so it is suited to road use as well as trail work. The wider K262 range was developed for small street and trail bikes, including the current Honda Super Cub, and is offered in four popular sizes.

A sensible choice for riders who want one tyre that handles the commute and the fire trail without swapping rubber. Always check the size and rating against your motorcycle manufacturer's recommendations before fitting.

  • Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified tyre technician; incorrect levering can damage the bead and casing.
  • This is a tube-type tyre — fit a new inner tube of the correct size along with a sound rim band or rim tape, and do not reuse a stretched or patched tube.
  • Set and check cold inflation pressures regularly against the pressures specified by your motorcycle's manufacturer, not the maximum figure moulded on the sidewall.
  • Ride conservatively for the first few rides so the new tread surface can scrub in; grip is reduced until the moulding release agents have worn off.
  • If you drop pressures for loose off-road sections, stay within your motorcycle manufacturer's limits and consider a rim lock — low pressures increase the risk of pinched tubes and the tyre creeping on the rim.
  • Inspect regularly for cuts, splits, bulges, embedded stones or glass and sidewall damage; replace the tyre rather than attempting a sidewall repair.
  • Check remaining tread against the minimum depth required in your state and replace before it reaches the wear indicators.
  • Do not exceed the load and speed rating marked on the sidewall.
  • Clean with mild soap and water only; keep petrol, oils, brake fluid, solvents and silicone tyre-shine products off the tread and sidewalls.
  • Store spare tyres upright in a cool, dry, dark place away from direct sunlight and running electric motors, which generate ozone that degrades rubber.
