- Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified motorcycle tyre technician; correct beading of a tubeless tyre requires the right equipment.
- Check that the size, load index and speed symbol (110/90-18 61H) meet or exceed your motorcycle manufacturer's specification before fitting.
- As a tubeless tyre, it relies on an undamaged rim seat and a sound tubeless valve — fit a new valve at the same time and inspect the rim for corrosion or dents.
- If a rotation arrow is marked on the sidewall, fit the tyre so it turns in the indicated direction.
- Ride gently for the first stretch after fitting to scrub in the new tread and release the mould-release finish before using full lean angles or hard braking.
- Check pressures when the tyres are cold and set them to the pressures listed in your motorcycle's owner's manual; under-inflation causes overheating and uneven wear.
- Inspect regularly for cuts, bulges, embedded stones or nails, and uneven or feathered wear; replace the tyre before it reaches the legal minimum tread depth in your state or territory.
- Clean with mild soap and water only. Keep petrol, oils, brake fluid, solvents and silicone tyre-shine products off the tread and sidewalls.
- Store spare tyres upright in a cool, dry, dark place away from direct sunlight and away from electric motors or welders, which generate ozone.
- Do not exceed the tyre's load and speed capability, and do not fit it to high load carrying vehicles.
