Genuine replacement cheek pads for the OGK Kabuto Geosys GT MIPS helmet. Sold as a fit-specific spare part, they let you refresh worn, compressed or soiled padding without replacing the helmet itself.
They are also the simplest way to fine-tune fit. Cheek pads are offered in several thicknesses, and because a thicker pad takes up more internal room, moving up a thickness gives a firmer hold on the cheeks while a thinner pad opens the fit out. This is useful if the shell size is right but the cheeks feel too tight, too loose, or have loosened as the original padding bedded in.

- Choose thickness by feel: if the shell size is correct but the cheeks feel loose, fit a thicker pad; if they feel too firm, fit a thinner one.
- A correctly fitted cheek pad should hold the cheeks snugly with no movement of the helmet when you shake your head, while still allowing you to speak and swallow comfortably.
- Remove and refit the pads following the instructions in your Geosys GT MIPS owner's manual, and make sure every fastening point is fully seated before riding.
- Do not obstruct, trim, glue or otherwise modify the pads or the helmet's MIPS layer — the low-friction liner needs to move freely to work as intended.
- Hand wash only, in lukewarm water with a small amount of mild soap; press gently rather than wringing or scrubbing.
- Do not machine wash, tumble dry, iron, dry clean, or use petrol, solvents, bleach or strong detergents on the pads or the helmet interior.
- Air dry in the shade at room temperature and keep them away from direct sunlight, heaters and hair dryers; refit only when completely dry to avoid odour and mould.
- After wet rides, remove the pads and let both the pads and the helmet interior dry fully before storage.
- Store the helmet and spare pads in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, away from fuel, cleaning chemicals and their fumes.
- Replace the pads when the foam has compressed and no longer holds a snug fit, or if the fabric is torn or worn through — worn padding reduces both comfort and the security of the helmet's fit.
- If the helmet has been involved in an impact, replace the helmet itself; new cheek pads do not restore a damaged helmet.
