Clean the outer shell with a soft damp cloth and mild soap; avoid petroleum-based solvents, petrol, or abrasive compounds that can degrade the shell and finish.
Clean the visor with lukewarm water or a dedicated visor cleaner; use only a soft, lint-free cloth to avoid scratching the anti-scratch coating.
Remove the interior liner and cheek pads and hand-wash in cool water with a mild detergent; allow to air dry fully before refitting — never machine wash or tumble dry.
Operate the flip-up chin bar and drop-down sun visor mechanisms with clean, dry hands to prevent grit ingress into pivot points.
Confirm the chin bar locking mechanism clicks fully into place before every ride.
Inspect visor seal condition and locking tab engagement periodically; replace worn seals or damaged tabs promptly.
Store the helmet in a protective bag or on a dedicated stand, away from direct sunlight, fuel vapour, paint fumes and household chemicals, all of which can degrade the shell and EPS liner.
