The HJC F71 ARCAN MC-3H is a sport-focused full-face helmet built for road riders who want aerodynamic performance alongside everyday practicality. Its P.I.M. Plus polycarbonate shell keeps weight low while delivering a strong, well-fitted structure across the full size run from XS to XL.

- Clean the outer shell with a soft damp cloth and mild soap; never use petroleum-based solvents, petrol, abrasives or acetone as these will damage the shell finish and ARCAN graphics.
- Remove cheek pads and the liner before washing; hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent, rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before reinserting.
- Fit the Pinlock 70 EVO insert onto the HJ-40 face shield pins and ensure a firm seal around the full perimeter to prevent fogging in cold or wet conditions.
- Use the RapidFire III mechanism to remove the face shield for cleaning; wash the shield with warm water and a soft microfibre cloth — avoid paper towels or abrasive pads which will scratch the lens.
- Do not store the helmet in direct sunlight or near heat sources such as dashboards or exhausts; prolonged UV and heat exposure degrades the EPS liner and polycarbonate shell over time.
- Replace the helmet after any significant impact even if no visible damage is apparent, as the EPS energy-absorbing liner may be internally compromised.
- Avoid applying stickers, aerosol sprays or chemical products directly to the shell unless the manufacturer has confirmed compatibility with polycarbonate.
- Periodically inspect the retention system fastener and EQRS cheek-pad tabs to confirm both release correctly and show no signs of wear or damage.
