  • Clean the outer shell with a soft damp cloth and a small amount of mild soap; avoid solvents, petrol, or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the carbon fibre surface and finish.
  • Clean the visor with warm water and a soft microfibre cloth only — paper towels or dry cloths will cause micro-scratches that impair vision.
  • Remove the interior liner and cheek pads (if removable per the product manual) and hand-wash in lukewarm water with mild detergent; allow to air-dry fully before reinserting.
  • Inspect the visor pivot mechanism, locking tabs, and chin strap buckle before each ride and replace any worn or damaged components promptly.
  • Do not apply paint, stickers, or aftermarket adhesives to the shell — these can compromise the structural integrity of the carbon fibre laminate.
  • Never use petroleum-based products, acetone, or spray lubricants near any part of the helmet.
  • Store the helmet in a protective bag or case, away from direct sunlight, fuel vapour, and extreme heat, all of which degrade shell materials and interior foams over time.
  • Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even where no external damage is visible — internal EPS foam does not recover after a single compression event.
  • Check the retention system (chin strap and buckle) is securely fastened and free of fraying before every ride.
