The TINO MC-7SF variant presents a detailed graphic design finished in HJC's semi-flat MC-7SF treatment. - Clean the outer shell with lukewarm water and mild soap on a soft cloth; never use petroleum-based solvents, abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these degrade the polycarbonate shell and graphic finish.
- Clean the outer shield with warm water and a small amount of mild soap using a soft, lint-free cloth; avoid paper towels, which can introduce fine scratches.
- Use the quick-release lever to remove the outer shield before cleaning it; reinstall by aligning the shield tabs and pressing until the mechanism clicks into place.
- Drop down the integrated internal sun visor and wipe gently with a clean, damp microfibre cloth; do not use glass cleaners or solvent-based products on the inner visor.
- Unclip and remove the interior liner and cheek pads; hand wash in lukewarm water with a mild detergent, rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry fully before refitting — do not tumble dry or apply direct heat.
- Replace the helmet immediately following any significant impact, even where no visible damage to the shell is apparent; EPS liner damage is not externally visible.
- Check the manufacture date label inside the helmet and retire the helmet no later than five years from that date, or sooner if the liner shows signs of compression, cracking or deterioration.
- Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapour, exhaust fumes and cleaning chemicals, all of which degrade polycarbonate and EPS materials over time.
- Verify the outer shield seals evenly around the aperture and closes without gaps before each ride to prevent wind noise and moisture ingress.
- Use only HJC-approved replacement shields and accessories; non-approved items may compromise the seal, retention system or structural integrity of the helmet.
