  • Clean the outer shell with a mild soap solution and a soft, damp cloth; avoid petroleum-based cleaners, solvents or abrasive pads that can degrade the polycarbonate finish.
  • Clean the face shield with warm soapy water and a clean microfibre cloth; never dry-wipe the lens or use paper towels, as these will introduce fine scratches.
  • Activate the drop-down sun shield using the thumb tab before riding into bright conditions; ensure it is fully retracted before storing to prevent distortion of the lens.
  • Remove the cheek pads and crown liner before washing; hand wash with mild detergent in cool water and allow to air dry completely before refitting.
  • Refit all interior components securely before each ride to ensure the emergency quick-release cheek pad system remains functional.
  • Inspect the Pinlock port and face shield seal periodically; replace the shield if scratching, crazing or distortion impairs forward visibility.
  • Store the helmet in its dust bag in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours and chemical exposure — UV and solvent exposure degrade polycarbonate over time.
  • Do not apply paint, adhesives or aftermarket stickers directly to the shell; chemicals in adhesives can compromise structural integrity.
  • Replace the helmet following any significant impact, even where external damage is not visible — EPS liner damage cannot be assessed by visual inspection alone.
  • Check that all vent sliders open and close freely and clear any debris from vent channels periodically to maintain airflow performance.
