Clean the outer shell with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap; never use petroleum-based cleaners, solvents, or abrasive cloths as these degrade polycarbonate and liner foams.
Remove the interior liner and cheekpads before washing; hand-wash in cool water with a mild detergent and allow to air dry completely before reinstalling — do not machine wash or tumble dry.
Clean the visor with warm water and a clean microfibre cloth; never wipe a dry visor as grit will scratch the surface and impair vision.
To deploy the inner sun visor, slide the left-side lever downward; ensure it is fully retracted before storing the helmet.
Inspect the visor pivot mechanisms and seal periodically; replace the visor if scratching reaches a level that affects vision clarity.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even where no external damage is visible — internal foam damage is not always apparent.
Do not paint, drill, apply stickers near ventilation ports, or otherwise modify the shell, as doing so compromises structural integrity.
Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel, and solvents; keep clear of sharp objects that could damage the shell or liner.
