Clean the outer shell with a mild soap solution and a soft, damp cloth; avoid petrol-based solvents, harsh chemicals or abrasive cloths that can damage the finish and degrade the shell.
Clean the visor with lukewarm water and a clean microfibre cloth; never wipe a dry visor as this creates micro-scratches that impair vision.
Remove the interior liner and cheek pads and hand-wash them with a gentle detergent in cool water; allow all components to air-dry fully before reinserting — do not tumble-dry.
Store the helmet in a carry bag or protective case in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and chemical fumes (including those from fuel, paint or cleaning products).
Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if no external damage is visible — internal EPS foam does not recover after a hard strike.
Inspect the chin strap and retention buckle regularly for fraying, cracking or loss of function; replace immediately if wear is evident.
Replace the outer visor if heavy scratching reduces optical clarity, as distorted vision is a safety risk.
