  • Clean the outer shell with mild soap and warm water using a soft cloth; avoid petroleum-based solvents, petrol or abrasive cleaners that can degrade the polycarbonate shell and graphics.
  • Clean the visor with a damp microfibre cloth or mild soap; never wipe a dry visor as this causes micro-scratches.
  • Remove the interior cheek pads and crown liner for machine or hand washing according to the care label; allow to air-dry fully before reinserting.
  • Activate and stow the drop-down sun visor only when the helmet is on your head and the helmet is stationary, to avoid mechanism strain.
  • Inspect the visor seating and pivot mechanisms periodically; reseat or replace the visor if it shows signs of looseness or impaired sealing.
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and fuel vapours, ideally in a helmet bag, to preserve the shell and lining over time.
  • Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if no external damage is visible — the EPS liner is a single-use energy absorber.
  • Check the chin-strap buckle and D-ring (if applicable) for correct function before every ride.
