The HJC C70 is a 3/4 open face helmet positioned in HJC's mid-range lineup, built for everyday road riders who want solid protection and comfort without the claustrophobia of a full-face shell. The SILON graphic in MC-8 colourway brings a distinct visual character to an otherwise practical helmet.
An integrated drop-down sun visor removes the need to carry a separate tinted shield, while the fully removable and washable interior keeps the helmet fresh over extended use. Multiple shell sizes ensure a closer fit across the size range rather than padding out a single large shell.

- Clean the outer shell with a soft damp cloth and mild soap; avoid petroleum-based solvents or abrasive cleaners that can degrade the polycarbonate shell and graphic finish.
- Remove the interior liner and cheek pads before washing; hand-wash in lukewarm water with mild detergent, rinse thoroughly, and allow to air-dry completely before refitting.
- Clean the sun visor with a soft microfibre cloth and warm soapy water; never use dry cloths on the visor as they can scratch the surface.
- Inspect the drop-down sun visor mechanism periodically to ensure it clicks firmly into the up and down positions; keep the slider channel clear of grit.
- Replace the outer visor if it becomes heavily scratched, as reduced optical clarity is a safety concern.
- Store the helmet away from direct sunlight, extreme heat, and fuel or chemical vapours, all of which can degrade the shell and EPS liner over time.
- Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if no visible damage is apparent, as the EPS liner is a single-use energy absorber.
- HJC recommends replacing the helmet every five years from the date of manufacture regardless of condition.
