The HJC C70 is an open-face motorcycle helmet built for street and commuter riders who want genuine all-day wearability alongside dependable protection. A polycarbonate composite shell keeps weight manageable, while the integrated drop-down SunShield removes the need to carry a separate tinted visor on sunny days.

The NIAN graphic arrives in HJC's MC-1SF semi-flat red finish — a subdued, matte-inflected take on a classic colourway that suits both modern naked bikes and retro-style machines.

Removable, washable interior components and an advanced channelling ventilation system make the C70 a practical everyday choice for riders who spend real time in the saddle.

  • Open face (3/4) shell design for wide field of vision and all-day comfort
  • Integrated drop-down SunShield inner sun visor — no separate tinted shield required
  • Advanced polycarbonate composite shell construction
  • Advanced channelling ventilation system for active airflow
  • Fully removable and washable interior liner and cheek pads
  • DOT FMVSS No. 218 certified
  • ECE 22.05 certified
  • NIAN graphic in MC-1SF semi-flat red colourway

  • Clean the outer shell with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap; avoid petrol, solvents or abrasive cleaners that can degrade the polycarbonate shell or damage the graphic.
  • Clean the face shield with a dampened soft cloth; never use abrasive materials or solvent-based products that will scratch or cloud the lens surface.
  • To deploy the integrated SunShield, use the side-mounted slider; retract it fully before riding at night or in low-light conditions.
  • Remove the interior liner and cheek pads by unclipping or unzipping them from the shell, then hand wash in mild detergent and warm water; air dry completely before refitting — never use a tumble dryer or direct heat.
  • Do not ride with or store a helmet that has sustained an impact, even if external damage is not obvious; the EPS liner may be compromised in ways that are not visible.
  • Store the helmet in its dust bag or a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapour and extreme heat, all of which accelerate degradation of the polycarbonate shell and EPS foam liner.
  • Check the chin strap and buckle before every ride for wear, fraying or damage; the strap should be fastened snugly with no more than one finger's width of slack beneath the chin.
  • Replace the helmet if it is five or more years old from the manufacture date (found on the interior label), or sooner if the shell, visor, EPS liner or retention system show any sign of deterioration.
