The HJC C70 EURA is a full-face road helmet built around an Advanced Polycarbonate Composite shell, offering a practical balance of protection, comfort and everyday usability. It suits commuters and recreational riders who want a capable, well-appointed helmet without moving into a premium price bracket.

The C70 stands out for its integrated drop-down internal sun visor — a convenience feature that removes the need to carry a separate tinted shield — combined with a Pinlock-ready face shield to manage fogging. The EURA graphic is finished in HJC's MC-2SF semi-flat colourway, giving it a subdued, contemporary look on the road.

  • Clean the outer shell using a soft cloth dampened with mild soapy water; never use petroleum-based solvents, petrol, or abrasive cleaners as these can degrade the polycarbonate shell and damage the graphic finish.
  • Clean the face shield with lukewarm water and a soft microfibre cloth; always wet the surface before wiping — wiping a dry shield risks scratching the coating.
  • Remove the liner and cheek pads by following the pull-tab sequence, then hand-wash in lukewarm water with a mild detergent; allow to air dry fully before refitting.
  • To change the face shield, open it to the fully raised position and use the RapidFire lever on each side to release it without tools; reverse the process to install a replacement, ensuring it clicks firmly into both latch points.
  • Fit the Pinlock insert into the dedicated pin mounts on the inner face of the shield before riding in cold or wet conditions; check the insert seal periodically for distortion or dirt ingress that can cause fogging.
  • Operate the integrated sun visor slider with a clean, dry thumb; if the mechanism becomes stiff, clean away any debris from the slider channel — avoid forcing it.
  • Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapour, and household chemicals; use a helmet bag or case to protect the shell and shield from contact scratches.
  • Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even where external damage is not visible, as the EPS liner is a single-use energy-absorbing component.
  • Do not apply adhesives, stickers, or paint to the shell unless the manufacturer confirms compatibility, as these may chemically attack the polycarbonate.
